Ink
Pixie Parasols is part of Van Dieman’s Tassie Seasons series, inspired by the colours of each Tasmania’s seasons. Pixie Parasols is from the Autumn season and inspired by Mycena Interrupta, a beautiful cyan blue mushroom.
The ink is a light cyan blue. It flows well and shades beautifully, but it has one fatal flaw – it is too light to read. Which is a pity as the colour is beautiful. When I was writing, the ink is so light that sometimes I unconsciously pressed harder on the paper. I won’t recommend this for normal writing.
