Diamine Prussian Blue on Traveler’s Company notebook

Diamine Prussian Blue is a unsaturated blue (blue black?) that feels a little on the dry side in a fine nib. It feels fine in a medium nib.

This wasn’t the colour that came to mind when I think of Prussian blue so I was a bit disappointed when I first used it. This colour made me think of old, faded jeans. After using it for a while, I started to enjoy the ink, as long as I no longer think of it as Prussian blue. I also felt it looked good when used for sketching.

Traveler’s Company notebooks uses the same MD paper as Midori notebooks. The two notebooks perform the same when using fountain pens so why am I doing another writing sample on the same paper? Because Midori MD notebooks uses cream-coloured paper and Traveler’s Company ruled notebook uses white-coloured paper. I feel that the colour of the paper also affects how the ink looks, and hence this post.

Writing Sample

This is written with a TWSBI ECO-T medium nib.
