Taccia Grey Jeans on Rhodia

Ink

In 2020, Taccia launched the Jeans collection, a range of inks inspired by the colour of jeans. This is the Grey Jeans ink from the collection.

The ink is a pale blue-grey with an average flow and some shading. I feel this is pretty accurate to the colour that was seen on some types of jeans. However I find it too light to read comfortably.

Writing Sample

This is written with a TWSBI ECO-T medium nib.

I love this ink but it needs a broad/wet/flex nib to appear properly. The shading is fantastic if you have a really wet nib especially if you use TR paper. It reminds me of Kyo-No-Oto Hisoku but performs a of a lot better because it’s not dry and un-lubricated.

Thanks for your comment! I haven’t tried it in a broad nib yet, maybe I should.
