Ink
Bronze Yellow (La Paz 1985) is the full name of the ink. It refers to the only desert in the Philippines. The description for the ink also makes reference to the EDSA Revolution which took place in 1986. So I’m not sure what 1985 refers to.
The ink is a yellowish brown and has an average flow. While looking up what to call this colour, I came across a Wikipedia page listing different shades of brown. I think it looks most like the shade called Peru. However, if I tell people the colour is a Peru, most won’t know what I mean. Let’s stick to yellowish brown, which isn’t as cool a name but easier for people to understand.
Like the other Vinta ink I’ve tested recently, I encountered a gentle burping of ink when doing the writing samples. It only happened twice so it was less than my usual experience.
On Muji Planting Tree paper,
- Shading: Yes
- Sheen: Nil
- Feathering: Little
- Bleedthrough: Little
