Vinta Sunrise (Hanan 1964)

Sunrise (Hanan 1964) is named after Goddess of Morning in Philippine mythology and the year refers to the year Fernando Amorsolo’s painting “The Harvesters” was completed.

The ink is a pale yellow colour with a dry flow. The ink is so light that it was hard to read anything I am writing. I only wrote three pages with it before throwing up my hands in defeat. I’m including all of them in one post to shorten the pain.

On the bright side, this ink easy to clean out of the pen.

Papers I’ve tried it on:

  1. Midori MD
  2. Leuchtturm1917
  3. Rhodia

Midori MD

On Midori MD paper,

  • Shading: Yes
  • Sheen: Nil
  • Feathering: Nil
  • Bleedthrough: Nil

This was written with a TWSBI ECO-T medium nib.
