Last month, I wrote about preparing for a trip to Portugal and Spain and the notebooks and pens I will be bringing along. How did it go? Did I manage to use them or did they just languished untouched in my luggage?

Notebooks

The notebooks did get some use:

1. A blank insert – Didn’t touch this at all. I expected it as the itinerary was packed and we were always on the go. I did take a lot of photos so I could draw them at a later time.

2. A weekly vertical calendar – I checked the itinerary a few times during the trip, usually when I’m back in the hotel room. When out and about, it is more convenient to load the digital copy rather than dig into my backpack for the notebook.

3. A sticker release paper notebook – I used the washi tape I’ve saved in this notebook to tape down packaging for souvenirs. Didn’t really add new stickers during the trip.

Pens

As for the pens, I barely used them at all.

1. Uni Jetstream – Untouched because there’s no official forms to fill in.

2. Pilot Explorer with a F nib – Used to update a dinner reservation into the itinerary.

3. TWSBI Eco with an EF nib turned into a fude nib by Pen Realm – Untouched.
