This ink was manufactured by Sailor exclusively for Kingdom Note. Eumicrotremus Barbatus, also known as papillose lumpsucker, is a species of lumpsuckers found in the North Pacific Ocean. Lumpsuckers are small, round, portly fishes whose pelvic fins have evolved into suckers allowing them to stick to various surfaces.
While trying to find out more about the lumpsuckers, I came across an instagram account of someone that kept these fishes. The lumpsuckers turned out a lot smaller than I expected. As these fishes live in cold waters, the owner kept them in an aquarium inside a modified beer fridge!
This ink is a medium orange with an average flow.
The writing samples below were written with a TWSBI ECO-T medium nib.
